Welcome to the Greater Bangor Chapter of Mothers & More! Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers' needs as individuals and members of society, promote the value of all the work mothers do, and help mothers move more confidently through the transitions that affect their family, work and life. Mothers & More is a great way to attain peer support, preserve work skills by volunteering, find out more about parenting, build friendships, get a chance to socialize, and much more. The Greater Bangor Chapter (Chapter Number 274) was established in March 2003 and maintains a full calendar of events. Our Chapter offers: two chapter meetings each month, mom's and couple's nights out, children's activities, scheduled park play dates (in good weather), weekly (winter) playgroups, and a local email loop for members. Our chapter meetings are held at Eastern Maine Medical Center (EMMC), Conference Room 2D, on the second Wednesday and fourth Thursday of each month from 7-9pm.
